| To all the competitors at NDC 2010, a BIG congratulations on helping us make the 2010 edition a major success, from an event organisers point of view, we can only deliver a great event, with great runners...and all of you were just that...brilliant. We have had some emails about the website updates, and would like family and friends to understand that on day 3,4 and 5...We really are in the middle of nowhere with the runners, and our main priority is the comfort and safety of the runners and THIER on-ground support, as race directors we are not sitting in a luxury lodge 2 hours away, co-ordinating the race, we are always on-ground and camping with the runners.After the event, we have a 19 hour drive back to Cape Town. So our ability to update and communicate to the outside world really is limited. Again..to everyone that was there...THANK-YOU and WELL DONE!!! MIMI....just MArvellous!! | |

| Now that it's all over I just want to say a big thank you to all my fellow competitors, support staff and medical team for the friendship and community spirit that I have enjoyed during the race. Good luck to you all in all of your future endeavours and hopefully I'll see some of you again. Regards James |

| have just received some 'unofficial' results----well done for a fantastic run. you are one tough and talented runner and we have no doubt that andrew enjoyed running with, and against you. as an absolute novice in that kind of racing he must have learnt a great deal from you regarding the tactical side of extreme long-distance running. well done to all of those crazy folk who even contemplated the race---you're all quite mad, but very brave. andrew's old folks |
