Air Namibia, the national airline of Namibia, operates daily flights between Windhoek and Europe, namely four times to and from Frankfurt in Germany and three flights to and from London Gatwick in the United Kingdom.

Other airlines flying to Windhoek include, Lufthansa, British Airways and Swiss.

Which Airport in Namibia?
Fly into Windhoek or Walvis Bay. Both are approx 4 hours by gravel road or 1 hour by Air Taxi to the Sossusvlei. The Adventure Centre at Sossusvlei Lodge offers Air Taxi flights.

Do we provide a bus transfer service from the airport to the Sossusvlei?
Yes, we will be arranging a shuttle from Windhoek airport at a specific time on the 20^th February.
Please note that return transfers are not included in the registration fee and are an additional cost.

Are family & friends allowed as spectators?
We do encourage you to bring your supporters along. Unfortunately they will not be permitted into the race camps or along the course, but are welcome to see you off and welcome you back at the start and finish of the race.
