Bus transfer from Windhoek airport to the Sossusvlei Lodge

15:00 – 19:00   
Pre-registration at the Sossusvlei Lodge.
Kit Checks.
Luggage drop off, storage is provided for additional baggage not needed during the race.
Handing over of food rations for the race, competitors are required to only carry 1 day's food at a time.
Transfer to race village and tented camp.

After meeting the Kinetic team, registering and completing equipment checks, competitors are free to relax at the pool and bar area until the race briefing begins at 19:00

Official welcome and race briefing

20:00 – 21:30  
Prerace dinner and pasta party. Watch the desert sun set whilst treating yourself to a buffet dinner with an  assortment of pasta and sauces.

The race starts just outside the Sossusvlei lodge and we encourage you to bring  along your family and friends to see you off and welcome you back again after completing the 5 day challenge.
